Getting Here...
By Train...
If you're coming from Central London, there is a very good rail connection from Kings Cross to
Potters Bar, running four trains an hour, two of which are express service, taking just 17
minutes and stopping only once at Finsbury park. Details of train times and connections from
Potters Bar can be found here. Alternatively, the nearest tube stations are Barnet (Northern Line)
and Cockfosters (Piccadilly Line). If you are using an Oyster Card these should cover you by bus
the rest of the way to Potters Bar. Details of Bus and Tube times can be found here.
The Studio is about 10-15 minutes down the line path from Potters Bar Rail Station on foot , or a
3 minute cab ride (the taxi rank is at the Bus terminus side of the station).
Directions on foot from Potters Bar station: To find the line path, walk to the very back of the
station car park and follow the foot path running parallel to the rail tracks. This leads all the way
to the bottom of the Cranborne Industrial Estate where you should turn left and walk back up the
hill, past the car wash, until you get to the big Mini Spares building. Turn left immediately after
Mini Spares and before Lambda house. Studio 3 is 100 yards up the hill on the right.
By Road...
Located just on the tip of North London, the Studio is close to two junctions on the M25 and the
A1M. We have parking space for 2-3 cars out front of the building and there are always other free
places to park close by.
Directions From Potters Bar M25 Junction 24: From the roundabout above the motorway take
the exit signposted for Potters Bar and follow the road straight on over the first large crossroads
onto Mutton Lane. Go straight past the large Tescos on the right hand side and keep going all
the way to the next big crossroads. Go straight over and keep on Mutton Lane until you come to
a mini roundabout. Turn right here onto Cranborne Road and follow the road
down until you go over a very small mini roundabout where the residential housing ends and
the industrial area begins. Take the very first right turn, immediately after Lambda House and
just before the big Mini Spares building. Studio 3 is approximately 100 yards up the hill on the
right hand side.
Directions from South Mimms M25 junction 23 with the A1M: From the main roundabout
(Bignells Corner) take the exit for the motorway service area and then take an immediate left,
signposted for the "Lorry Services". Follow this short road up, keeping to the left hand lane, until
you come to a mini roundabout. Turn Left here and go back over the top of the A1M, towards
South Mimms village. Keep on this road until you come to a mini roundabout. Turn right here,
towards Potters Bar, and follow this road, which becomes "Mutton Lane", all the way back over
the A1M and into Potters Bar. The first building you will see on the left hand side is the Leisure
Centre, just after which you will come to a mini roundabout. Turn left here onto Cranborne Road
and follow the road down until you go over a very small mini roundabout, where the residential
housing ends and the industrial area begins. Take the very first right turn, immediately after
Lambda House and just before the big Mini Spares building. Studio 3 is approximately 100
yards up the hill on the right hand side.
